Mesa police seeking 20-year-old man in fatal shooting at Circle K

PHOENIX — The Mesa Police Department is looking for a 20-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting at a Circle K last week.

Adam Gomez was last seen fleeing from the gas station at McKellips and Gilbert roads at about 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to police.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was shot and killed in the Circle K parking lot earlier that morning.

Gomez is considered armed and dangerous.

He is 5-foot-2, weighs 140 pounds, has short brown hair and has an Arizona Diamondbacks logo tattoo on his neck.

Anyone with information on the incident or Gomez’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211.
