PHOENIX – For the first time since March 2020, travelers have a nonstop option for flying between Phoenix and Montreal.
And unlike in the past, Air Canada’s service from Sky Harbor International Airport to Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and back will be available year-round.
Air Canada previously offered the route on a seasonal basis starting in 2018, but it was put on hold two years ago because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The service, which is timed to coincide with connections to Europe, reboots this week as a regular twice-weekly offering.
Departures from Phoenix to Montreal are scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, while trips from Montreal to Phoenix leave at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The flight to Montreal takes 4½ hours, and it’s 5½ hours the other way.
Air Canada flies out of Terminal 3 at Sky Harbor.
