PHOENIX — Arizona had another lottery winner Monday as a Powerball ticket sold at a gas station in Glendale hit for $100,000, making it the sixth win for the state in the last four days.
The ticket was sold at a Shell on the corner of Northern and 91st avenues and matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball, the Arizona Lottery said in a press release.
The numbers drawn Monday night were 12, 18, 20, 39 and 61 with a Powerball of 10.
That usually nets the winner $50,000, but the ticket was worth $100,000 because the player added the Powerplay 2x multiplier for the drawing.
The odds of winning $50,000 in the game are 1 in 913,129.
Had the player picked all five numbers and the Powerball correctly, they would have won the jackpot that is now estimated to be $454 million for the drawing on Wednesday.
Over the weekend, five winnings tickets were sold in Arizona in three drawings that had prizes ranging from $30,000 to $1 million.
