PHOENIX — Multiple Interstate 10 closures, including one that will close both directions of the highway near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, are among the restrictions on Valley freeways this weekend.

The eastbound lanes of I-10 will close from the State Route 51 Mini Stack to State Route 143 and the westbound lanes will be closed between State Route 143 and the Interstate 17 Split near Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closures begin Friday at 10 p.m. and last until Monday at 4 a.m.

All eastbound I-10 on-ramps between Third and 40th streets, including the southbound State Route 51 ramps to eastbound I-10, will be closed. All westbound I-10 on-ramps between Elliot Road and 32nd Street, as well as the westbound U.S. 60 ramps to westbound I-10, will also be closed.

In the West Valley, eastbound I-10 will be closed between the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway and 75th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.

The southbound Loop 101 ramp to eastbound I-10, as well as the eastbound I-10 on-ramps at Fairway Drive, Avondale Boulevard and 99th Avenue, are all set to be closed for the project.

In north Phoenix, all I-17 on- and off-ramps at Greenway Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a drainage project.

Greenway Road will also be closed in both directions approaching I-17, ADOT said.

In the East Valley, Loop 101 Price Freeway frontage roads will be narrowed to one lane in both directions in areas between Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway in Chandler from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement sealing.
