PHOENIX — Check those Powerball tickets as three sold around metro Phoenix hit for $50,000 apiece in Wednesday night’s drawing, the Arizona Lottery said.
Two tickets were sold at QuikTrip locations, one at a store near Indian School Road and 30th Street in Phoenix and the other in Peoria near 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.
The other was sold at a Circle K in Scottsdale at the intersection of Gold Dust Avenue and Scottsdale Road.
The lucky winners matched four out of the five numbers drawn and the Powerball.
The winning numbers were 14, 16, 41, 63 and 68 with a Powerball of 26.
Had the players picked all five numbers and the Powerball correctly, they would have won the jackpot that is now estimated to be $325 million for the drawing on Saturday.
It’s the second drawing in less than a week that at least one ticket sold in metro Phoenix hit for $50,000.
The odds of winning $50,000 in the game are 1 in 913,129.
