PHOENIX — Press Coffee announced Tuesday it plans to open a new location in Scottsdale next month.

The specialty coffee shop is set to begin brewing on May 13 at its 1,300 square-foot space in the Mercado Del Lago Plaza near Via de Ventura and Hayden Road.

Press Coffee will be open Mondays through Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the weekends.

It takes over for Lakeview Coffee, with renovations bringing a modern look and feel to the space, according to a press release.

“Press is thrilled to be a part of the McCormick Ranch community,” Jason Kyle, owner of Press Coffee, said in the release.

“We look forward to welcoming in new and returning guests and we appreciate the support from the Lakeview Coffee team as we make this transition.”

The coffee shop, to celebrate the grand opening, will offer drip coffee for $1 from May 13-15, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to HopeKids.

Along with quality coffee and coffee-based drink, the shop also offers a breakfast menu and various snack options.

Press Coffee’s new location in Scottsdale is its second in the East Valley city, with eight other shops in Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler.
