Faith in Humanity: Valley group offers veterans, families free tickets

The idea of going to a professional sports game or a cool event always seems like a good idea, but when the numbers start to add up, the cost can get intimidating.

A Valley group, Vet Tix, looks to provide both active and retired troops — along with the families of those killed in action — with free tickets to events.

So far, the group has given out 1.4 million tickets.

Donations, be it cash or tickets, are accepted online.
