Silver Alert canceled after 21-year-old man with cognitive deficiency found safe in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Wednesday after a 21-year-old man with a cognitive deficiency who went missing a month ago in Phoenix was found safe.

Tyler Malone had last been seen in the area of 91st and Pinchot avenues leaving his assisted living home on foot on April 5.

Malone was taken to a hospital and discharged after he was deemed healthy, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

He suffers from a cognitive deficiency due to a traumatic brain injury and needs medication for seizures.

Malone cannot care for himself and needs assistance in his daily activities.
