3-year-old girl in critical condition after being pulled from pool in west Phoenix

PHOENIX — A 3-year-old girl was in critical condition Friday after being pulled from a pool in west Phoenix, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to a residence near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road and found the girl unconscious and not breathing.

Lifesaving measures were used on the girl and she was taken to a hospital, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

It was immediately unknown how long the girl was under water.

No other information was available.
