Condor Airlines flight from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to Germany returning after hiatus

PHOENIX — Condor Airlines will once again take flight from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to Germany following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was announced Monday that the airline’s nonstop Phoenix-Frankfurt flight would resume beginning May 21 and operate two days a week through September.
“Condor’s return to Phoenix continues an important return to travel and we look forward to welcoming more international visitors,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a press release. “Direct, non-stop flights to Frankfurt offer our community more access and easy connections to Europe.
Flights will run on Thursdays and Saturdays using a Boeing 767-300ER that features more than 250 seats, according to the release. The Frankfurt to Phoenix flight will depart at 3:30 p.m., while the Phoenix flight to Frankfurt leaves at 8:45 p.m.
Passengers can enjoy complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals and in-flight entertainment at each seat, according to the release. There are more amenities for those who buy one of the 18 seats in business class.
The airline also offers connections to numerous other destinations across Europe, according to the release.

British Airways also recently announced the return of its nonstop London Heathrow flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, while American Airlines will also resume a nonstop flight to London in April, according to the release.
