PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Monday after the subject, a 61-year-old Phoenix man with a cognitive condition, was found safe.

Leopold “Leo” Tully had last been seen around 7 p.m. Sunday in the neighborhood southeast of 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

The Silver Alert was issued around 11 a.m. Monday and deactivated about three hours later after Tully was safely recovered.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with “Marines” in red on the front, a black shirt and blue jeans.

Tully, who is Native American, is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, with gray/black hair and brown eyes.

He has a medical condition that can cause him to become confused and get lost easily.
