Fountain Hills Music Fest, expanded to two nights, takes place this weekend

PHOENIX — People will have an extra night to enjoy the Fountain Hills Music Fest this weekend as the event expands to two nights this year.
Taking place from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Fountain Park (12925 N. Saguaro Blvd.), three musical acts will perform each night covering a variety of genres at the free event.
Indie pop band People Who Could Fly begins the festivities on Friday, followed by Tripwire, who covers classic rock. The night is capped with Pearl Jam tribute band Pearlagram.
Saturday kicks off with some blues music as Chuck Hall Band takes the stage, followed by reggae-rock group Roots of Mine and concludes with modern country artist Tyler Dial.

Attendees can also enjoy food truck dining options and a beer garden by Bone Haus Brewing.
People are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.
The event was formerly known as the Fountain Hills Concert Series.
