Chandler police seek help identifying suspect in apartment shooting

PHOENIX — The Chandler Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying the suspect involved in an overnight shooting last week.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:16 a.m. on March 16 at an apartment complex near Arizona Avenue and Warner Road and found a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video burglarizing a vehicle, when he was interrupted and shot the victim, according to authorities.
Police said the suspect is a male likely in his late teens or early twenties, and was wearing a red facemask, dark pants, dark colored shoes, and a blue shirt under a light-colored long-sleeved shirt or jacket.
The identity of the victim wasn’t released.
