Authorities cancel Silver Alert after 65-year-old subject found safe

PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a Silver alert Tuesday morning after the subject, who was missing for almost a week, was safely located.

Laddie Boakin has been missing since Wednesday and was last seen in the area of 12th Street and Glendale Avenue.

Boakin has a medical condition that makes him appear confused or disoriented.

He was last wearing a gray, long-sleeved plaid flannel shirt with a black t-shirt, gray or light blue pants and a gray beanie.

Boakin is 5-foot-10 and weighs 130 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes.
