PHOENIX — Dunkin’ recently announced it will give the first 100 customers at its new Tempe location free coffee for a year when it opens Tuesday in honor of the chain’s 100th location in Arizona.
The grand opening of the new restaurant at 6375 S. Kyrene Road will take place from 7-10 a.m. Other things to see as part of the grand opening event include a Tempe artist painting a mural outside, a performance from the Marco de Niza High School band drum line, cheer and choir, various activities and giveaways as well as the ribbon cutting with Tempe city leadership.
“We’re thrilled to open Arizona’s 100th Dunkin’ location here in Tempe, near so many of our loyal Dunkin’ fans,” Alex Apodaca, vice president of operations for Arizona franchise operator Quality Brands, said in a press release.
“This location focuses on convenience and savings for our valued guests with accessible drive-thru, in-store charging stations, free Wi-Fi, DD perks for optimal savings and a new design tailored to facilitate the way guests prefer to Dunkin’.”
The fast-casual location also offers a bar tap system for nitro and cold-brewed coffee and has seating for more than 50 guests, the company said.
Dunkin’ offers more than 50 donut combinations and dozens of premium beverages to choose from, along with bagels, muffins and sandwiches.
The chain employs 5,000 people across its various locations in the state, the company said, with plans to add more in the future.
