PHOENIX — There are only a few restrictions on Valley freeways drivers need to worry about this weekend.
In the North Valley, the westbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway is scheduled to be narrowed to three lanes with the right lane closed between State Route 51 and Cave Creek Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement maintenance, the Arizona Department of Transportation said in a press release.
The northbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101, as well as the westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Cave Creek Road will both be closed.
In Buckeye, the Miller Road underpass at Interstate 10 will be closed to all traffic from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for removal of older bridge sections.

On- and off-ramps to the interstate at Miller Road will remain open. Drivers who use the road to travel beneath the highway will instead need to use Watson and Yuma roads or State Route 85 to westbound Broadway Road to access areas south of I-10, ADOT said.
The highway will also be narrowed to one lane in both directions between Verrado Way and Watson Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday.
In northeast Phoenix, the northbound State Route 51 ramp to the eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway is set to be closed overnight from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for removal of a temporary barrier wall.
