Man killed in house fire near border of Phoenix and Glendale

PHOENIX – A man died in a house fire near the border of Phoenix and Glendale on Thursday, authorities said.
Firefighters found three victims while battling the blaze near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road, the Phoenix Fire Department said in a press release.
Crews helped two women get out of the residence. The women were taken to a hospital in stable condition for evaluation and treatment.
A man was also taken out of the house but he did not survive. His identity was not released.
The Phoenix and Glendale fire departments responded to the scene after a 911 caller reported seeing smoke.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
No other information was made available.
