Gilbert set to host free concert series at 2 sites beginning Thursday

PHOENIX — Two free concert series are scheduled to begin Thursday in Gilbert.

The events begin with the Water Tower Plaza Spring 2022 Concert Series with 14-year-old Gavin Torel at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Torel was featured as the winner of 2019’s NBC Arizona Got Talent Kids.

Events will continue at Water Tower Plaza each Thursday in March with acts including Kids Pop Sing Along with Julie Simpson Entertainment, PF Flyers, Notes from Neptune and Reasonable Doubt.

In April, concerts will shift to a 6:30 p.m. time slot and move to Gilbert Regional Park.

The Gilbert Regional Park 2022 Spring Concert Series will host five acts weekly from April 7 through May 5.

Acts will include The Painted Cave Band, The Illumin80s, Ryan and the Renegades, Nina Speaking and Soulitify.

Local food trucks will be available on site and concert goes have been encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
