I-10 closure in west Phoenix among Valley freeway restrictions this weekend

PHOENIX — A closure of Interstate 10 west of downtown Phoenix is among the restrictions on Valley freeways this weekend.
Westbound I-10 will be closed between the Interstate 17 Stack interchange and 43rd Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvement work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Both I-17 ramps to westbound I-10 at the Stack, as well as westbound I-10 on-ramps at 27th and 35th avenues, are set to be closed for the project.
In north Phoenix, both I-17 ramps to the eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday for pavement maintenance along Loop 101.
Eastbound Loop 101 is set to be narrowed to two lanes with the right lanes closed between I-17 and Cave Creek Road, while the eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 19th Avenue will be closed.
In Buckeye, I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions between Verrado Way and Watson Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for a widening project.
In Tempe, eastbound I-10 is set to be narrowed to two lanes overnight between the U.S. 60 Superstition Freeway and Baseline Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday for pavement repair work as part of the I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project.
In Phoenix, the U.S. 60 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions at 39th Avenue from 11 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Monday for overhead power line installation.
