PHOENIX — Fast-casual Mexican restaurant Taco Boys on Monday announced their third Valley location will open soon in Glendale.
The family-owned taco shop’s new location at the corner of 91st Avenue and Camelback Road, one block away from State Farm Stadium, is slated to open in April.
It joins the downtown Phoenix restaurant at 620 E. Roosevelt Street and the Tempe location at 1015 S. Rural Road.
It was also announced the Tempe restaurant now features the city’s first and only self-pour beer wall experience, according to a press release.
A rotating selection of beers or a house-made draft margarita made with 3 Amigos Tequila is available, the restaurant said, with people serving themselves using a wristband that activates one of the 20 taps and keeps track of their tab. People can also sample different beverages before committing to a full pour.
The menu of the two current restaurants and the new Glendale location is made up of traditional Mexican fare made with fresh, char-grilled meat, according to the release, with options including chicken, steak, tripa, cabeza, barbacoa and pastor. Free house-made salsas and veggie toppings are also available.
Taco Boys was founded in 2019 by partners Juan Cornejo Pena and Suminder Singh Sodhi.
“We started out with a small taco stand in front of a liquor store and now we’re opening our third restaurant a few years later,” Cornejo said in the release. “We’re very thankful for the support of our customers and excited to bring Taco Boys to new communities across the state.”
