Scottsdale ranks No. 9 for best place to celebrate Valentine’s Day in 2022, per WalletHub

PHOENIX — Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day with your significant other or with a box of chocolates, one Valley city is one of the best cities in the country for the holiday.
WalletHub compared 100 of the nation’s largest cities for the best place to celebrate Valentine’s Day in 2022, with Scottsdale coming in at No. 9 overall.
WalletHub compared the cities using four key dimensions – budget, activities, gift accessibility and weather forecast.
Gilbert was the next highest-ranked Arizona city at No. 25, followed by Chandler (No. 28), Phoenix (No. 39), Tucson (No. 69), Mesa (No. 70) and Glendale (No. 81).
Chandler and Gilbert ranked among the top three cities for the cheapest three-course meal.
The best place to celebrate the holiday this year is San Francisco, California, according to WalletHub, while the worst was Hialeah, Florida.
The average person will spend $175 on their significant other this year, according to WalletHub, with Americans collectively spending $23.9 billion on gifts and dinners.
