Arizona trooper finds 26 pounds of cocaine in woman’s car during traffic stop

PHOENIX — A 22-year-old woman from Mexico was arrested recently after more than 26 pounds of cocaine was found in her car during a traffic stop near Casa Grande, authorities said.
Glenda Gaxiola-Gracia of Sonora was booked into the Pinal County Jail on charges of possession and transportation of a narcotic drug for sale, the Arizona Department of Public Safety announced Monday.
A state trooper stopped Gaxiola-Gracia traveling westbound on Interstate 8 on Jan. 28, DPS said.
A search of her Honda sedan yielded 26.5 pounds of cocaine concealed in numerous packages, DPS said.
No other details were made available.
