Think Tank takes look at state of affairs of Arizona Legislature

Robert Robb is a longtime Arizona Republic political columnist. He was also a hands-on former practitioner of the dark art of political consulting.
We engage him in a wide-ranging discussion of:
• The state of our democracy given the prevalence of conspiracy theories, massive distrust of not only government and elections, but also business, mass media, and even medicine and the scientific community. Can our democracy survive these conditions?
• The impact of redistricting on both our Legislature (both houses of which are Republican by a single vote) and on our congressional delegation (which is currently 5-4 Democratic). Do the Democrats have any reasonable prospects of at least a tie in either legislative house?
• The future prospects of our senior senator, Kyrsten Sinema, who has angered much of the dominant progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
