PHOENIX — Two Interstate 10 ramps in the West Valley are set to be closed for about six weeks as part of an ongoing freeway widening project.
The westbound off-ramp and eastbound on-ramp at Miller Road in Buckeye will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Friday and lasting until mid-March, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Drivers are able to use the Watson Road interchange when the Miller Road ramp closures are in effect.
The construction is part of an $82 million project that will widen I-10 to three lanes in both directions between Verrado Way and State Route 85.
Crews this week shifted I-10 traffic to new pavement along the center median near the Miller Road interchange.
The project is expected to be completed in summer 2023.
