PHOENIX — Glendale’s free live music series is set to return in February and will feature local artists at Murphy Park each weekend through the end of March.

LiVE! @ Murphy Park gets underway Feb. 3 and runs Thursdays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A new act takes the stage each night at the amphitheater of the park located at 58th and Glendale avenues.

The full schedule can be viewed online.

Multiple genres of music will be performed, including Latin, country, rock n’ roll, jazz, party hits and reggae.

The music series also features covers of some of the most popular bands and artists, including George Strait, Foo Fighters, Selena, Eagles, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

December 63, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute show, will begin the music series.

Mariachi Pasion, an all-female mariachi band, will follow on Feb. 4 before American roots and blues band The Sugar Thieves caps the opening weekend on Feb. 5.

People are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the music. Free parking will be available around downtown Glendale and at parking garages, the city said.

We want to hear from you.
