PHOENIX — Adults can go through the Phoenix Zoo’s annual ZooLights holiday display one final time on Thursday before the experience is turned off until next winter.
People age 21 and older can stroll through the holiday light exhibit and experience animal encounters while enjoying craft beverages, wine and food from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Phoenix Zoo said in a press release.
Tickets for the Roars and Pours Happy Hour cost $10 and can be purchased online or at the gate.
Available beverages for sampling are the Bevy Long Drink, Guinness, Smirnoff Ice Pink, Smirnoff Seltzer Pink Lemonade, Smirnoff Ice Spicy Tamarind and the Truly Classic Lime Margarita Style Hard Seltzer.
Camel rides and the safari cruiser will be available for $4 each as part of the experience, the zoo said, along with an opportunity to meet the zoo’s equine keepers and residents.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle, live music and games like chicken poop bingo, beer pong, corn hole, connect four, tic tac toe, ladder toss and ring toss.
In addition, “Animal Shows: The Mating Game!” will take place at 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
The flip was switched on the annual holiday light extravaganza on Nov. 15 and lasted through Saturday, with people being able to not only walk through but also enjoy it from their car as well on select nights.
