Frontier Airlines adding daily nonstop route between Phoenix, Chicago Midway

PHOENIX — Frontier Airlines is set to add another daily nonstop route between Phoenix and Chicago in the coming months.
The discount airline’s flight between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Midway Airport will kick off April 28, according to a press release Tuesday.
One-way fares begin at $29 and can be purchased immediately, the airline said.
The announcement was part of Frontier’s route expansion in Chicago and Houston.
“We’re excited to strengthen our position in two of the five largest metro areas in the country with 13 new routes and two additional airport options for our customers flying to or from Chicago or Houston,” Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, said in the release.
Frontier, which is based in Denver, offers a daily flight between Sky Harbor and O’Hare Airport in Chicago.
