PHOENIX — A weather system passing the Valley may bring chances of light rain and showers on Tuesday, officials said.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix forecasted the system has a 10% chance of measuring .10 inches or more, as rainfall amounts will be very light.

Following Tuesday’s light showers will be dry conditions with slightly above normal temperatures, NWS said.

Tuesday’s high is predicted to reach 68 degrees, followed by a high of 70 degrees on Wednesday and 73 degrees on Thursday.

The last time Phoenix saw rainfall was on New Year’s Eve when areas in the East Valley saw up to .59 inches of rain and other parts saw .2 inches.

Parts of Flagstaff are expected to see light rain and snow showers on Tuesday, NWS said.
