PHOENIX — Financial guidance company NerdWallet announced Thursday it would be opening an office in Scottsdale at the Lincoln Towne Center.

The company’s sales team, including account executives, sales managers and administrative staff, will work in the 10,000-square-foot office, according to a press release.

“We’re excited to be expanding into Arizona because of the diverse and growing population, which offers high performing skilled talent from top local universities, a thriving technology ecosystem and accessibility,” Andy Bell, head of the Phoenix sales team at NerdWallet, said in the release.

NerdWallet offers articles, tools, calculators and product marketplaces through its website and mobile app to help people navigate various financial matters, such as credit cards, mortgages and investing, according to the release.

“Congratulations to NerdWallet for making the wise choice to join a growing number of Scottsdale financial services companies,” Mayor David D. Ortega said in the release.

“Our city is proud of our highly-skilled workforce and our renowned quality of life that will contribute to NerdWallet’s ongoing success.”

The Scottsdale office marks the third U.S. location for the company that was founded in 2009.

We want to hear from you.
