The ‘Friends’ Experience opens in Phoenix next month; tickets on sale Thursday

PHOENIX — People who have always wanted to step into the New York apartments and other locations from the hit television show “Friends” will have their chance next month right here in the Valley.

The “Friends” Experience will allow fans of the show to explore re-creations of Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Monica and Rachel’s kitchen and Central Perk when it opens Feb. 24 in Paradise Village Gateway at 10845 N. Tatum Blvd in Phoenix.

Tickets for the experience that has 12 rooms of set re-creations go on sale online Thursday, and those who take part can even poke the Ugly Naked Guy, according to the official website.

Peak tickets are $37.50 plus tax and fees, while off-peak tickets are $30.50 plus taxes and fees. There are discounted tickets for children, students and seniors.

The experience also features props and costumes from the show, such as the iconic orange couch, as well as merchandise up for sale including shirts, tote bags, plush toys and more.

Face coverings are required for anyone above the age of 2.

The experience is traveling around the country in 2022, including stops in New York, Nashville, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

The show began its run on NBC in September 1994 and ended in May 2004 after 236 episodes. More than 50 million people reportedly watched the series finale.
