It’s the end of an era for a prominent downtown Phoenix restaurant, as Kincaid’s is closing after 14 years in business.
July 18 is the last day for the popular steak and seafood restaurant.
The restaurant had seen its number of patrons dwindle over the past few years, as downtown’s Cityscape development has effectively siphoned business from Kincaid’s as other dining options have sprang up offering variety to considerable business professional clientele.
Phoenix Business Journal also notes that Kincaid’s location in relation to the street also had a negative impact on the restaurant, as patrons were forced to take an escalator in order to enter the business.
Though Kincaid’s doesn’t have any other Arizona locations, the restaurant will remain open in California, Hawaii and Minnesota.
