PHOENIX — Thursday was a special day for fans of John, Paul, Ringo and George: It was Global Beatles Day.

The annual June 25 celebration gives fans a whole day dedicated to the British pop group that took the world by storm in the 1960s.

In honor of the day, we found a list compiled by the good people over at Billboard of the band’s 50 biggest hits. Now, we didn’t put all 50 below, but we figured a top 10 would let us all come together to remember the group.

Just a tidbit: All of the songs below hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. That’s quite the accomplishment.

You may debate the choices below, but we have one suggestion: let it be.

No. 10: “Can’t Buy Me Love”

This song spent five weeks atop the Billboard list. It reached the top on March 28, 1964.

No. 9: “We Can Work It Out”

This song spent three weeks at the top. It first hit No. 1 on Dec. 18, 1965.

No. 8: “A Hard Day’s Night”

This song spent two weeks at the top after hitting the mark on July 18, 1964.

No. 7: “Hello Goodbye”

This song spent three weeks at the top after hitting the mark on Dec. 2, 1964.

No. 6: “Come Together/Something”

This song spent just one week at the top after hitting the mark on Oct. 18, 1969.

No. 5: “Let It Be”

No. 4: “Get Back”

This song spent five weeks at the top after hitting the mark on May 10, 1969.

No. 3: “She Loves You”
