PHOENIX — Cava, a growing national Mediterranean restaurant chain, is converting three Zoe’s Kitchen locations in the Valley to Cava stores.

One is already up and running on 4355 E. Indian School Road in Arcadia, and the other two will open in the next six weeks, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

One will open in north Scottsdale and the other on 1641 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix, according to Cava’s website.

The Scottsdale location will open on Jan. 28 and the Phoenix restaurant on Feb. 11.

The Cava Group Inc. acquired Zoe’s Kitchen in 2018, but it kept the brand open for the time being, according to the Washington Business Journal.

There is one Zoe’s Kitchen location still operating in the Valley on 7131 W. Ray Road in Chandler.

Cava started with one restaurant in Maryland and now has nearly 80 locations, according to its website.

The company prides itself on combining flavor and substance without using preservatives or additives, according to its website.
