Mesa Police Department seeking help in fatal hit-and-run case

PHOENIX — The Mesa Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying the vehicle and driver from a hit-and-run that left a 70-year-old man dead on Wednesday morning.
Rudolph Hill was crossing Country Club Drive at Sixth Street when a northbound truck went through the intersection on a green light and struck Hill, fatally injuring him according to a press release.
The truck fled the scene of the collision.
The vehicle is described as a lifted 2015-20 Ford F150 crew cab with oversized tires and dark tint. The vehicle is missing its driver’s side mirror which was left at the scene, according to the press release.
Hill was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
