Phoenix police investigating arson incident at Ak-Chin Pavilion

PHOENIX – Investigators are trying to find the person seen on surveillance video setting fires after sneaking into Ak-Chin Pavilion earlier this month.
A man wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants jumped a fence at the outdoor concert facility at 79th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 6, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release Wednesday.
The suspect set fires on the stage and in a courtyard water fountain, according to the release.
The flames damaged the stage as well as electrical components underneath it.
Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for a tip leading to an arrest in the arson case.
