Stars on Ice coming to Glendale’s Gila River Arena in May, tickets on sale now

PHOENIX — People will have a chance to see members of the U.S. Figure Skating team competing in the Beijing Olympics right here in the Valley when the 2022 Stars On Ice Tour comes to Glendale next May.
The tour will visit Gila River Arena on May 20 at 7:30 p.m. and be headlined by Nathan Chen, a three-time and reigning world champion, Olympic bronze medalist and five-time and reigning U.S. champion.
Tickets are available online and begin at $25.
Joining Chen on the ice is two-time U.S. champion Alysa Liu, Olympic bronze medalist and U.S. champion Jason Brown, and World bronze medalist and three-time U.S. silver medalist Vincent Zhou, according to a press release.
Also part of the show are three-time World medalists and three-time U.S. champions Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue; two-time World medalists and two-time U.S. champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates, as well as Olympic bronze medalist and U.S. champion Mirai Nagasu.
Many of the skaters in the tour are going for a gold medal in the upcoming Winter Olympic Games that will begin Feb. 4 and run through Feb. 20.
The last Olympic Gold for America in figure skating was Meryl Davis and Charlie White in 2014.
Chen is among the favorites to bring another Gold back to the states, the tour said.
The tour is returning after missing two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
