Job seekers invited to Tempe hiring event for employers in January

PHOENIX — Tempe will host a citywide “Job Blizzard” next month in an effort to pair employers with job seekers.

The hiring event will take place at registered businesses listed on Tempe’s directory from Jan. 17 to Jan. 21, according to a press release.

Applicants will be able to view open positions in the directory by Jan. 10.

Participants are asked to bring their resume to the businesses during the week of the event.

Businesses seeking employees are asked to register their company online by Jan. 7.

Details of each company will include location, opportunities for training or advancement and unique work benefits.
