Arizona-raised Lindsey Stirling to perform Bell Bank Park’s first concert

PHOENIX — Lindsey Stirling, the platinum-selling violinist who grew up in Mesa, will return to the East Valley city in February to perform the first concert at Bell Bank Park.
Stirling, who is also a songwriter and dancer, will be the massive sports and entertainment complex’s debut headliner on Feb. 4. Tickets begin at $45 and go on sale online Friday at noon.
Bell Bank Park, a 320-acre facility at Ellsworth and Pecos roads near Mesa-Phoenix Gateway Airport, is scheduled to open in January.
Stirling will perform at the Tixr Yard, the outdoor live music venue within the park.
Currently living in Los Angeles, Stirling has 13 million subscribers and more than 3 billion views on YouTube, has secured Billboard Music Awards, was runner up on Season 25 of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” and has also appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
The complex features a 3,000-seat outdoor stadium and a 2,800-seat indoor arena, along with 35 football/soccer/lacrosse fields, 57 indoor volleyball courts, 41 pickleball courts, 23 futsal courts, 19 basketball courts, 12 beach volleyball courts and eight baseball/softball fields.
More than 3 million people are expected to visit the facility annually.
