Phoenix — Tempe Beach Park is kicking off the holiday season with the Fantasy of Lights boat parade and fireworks show on Saturday.

The events run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are a part of Downtown Tempe’s “Oh, What Fun” holiday event series.

The parade starts at 6 p.m., but the area will be open to shop many handmade goods from local various vendors. The firework show will commence at 8 p.m.

Following the show, spectators will be able to indulge in the chance to explore downtown Tempe, while celebrating the holidays with the quintessential sights, sounds and shopping of the season, the city said in a press release.

Live music will start at 4:15 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m.

The festivities will then continue as the 2nd Sundays Holiday Market on Mill runs from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. the following day with 75 different vendors from around Arizona.
