Woman killed in apparent road rage shooting in Phoenix; suspect unknown

PHOENIX – Police are looking for leads in an apparent road rage shooting that left a woman dead in north Phoenix on Thursday.
Stella Montes, 38, was driving near Seventh Avenue and Beardsley Road when she was reportedly shot after an altercation with a person in another vehicle, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release Friday.
Officers were called to the scene after Montes’ vehicle crashed into a wall Thursday afternoon.
Montes was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police didn’t have a description of the vehicle the alleged shooter was in.
