Silver Alert canceled after 63-year-old Phoenix man with cognitive condition found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Thursday for a 63-year-old Phoenix man with a cognitive condition after he was found safe.

Guy Vanchieri had last been seen near 15th and Laurel avenues at about 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

He was wearing a blue checkered collared shirt, jeans and either black or brown dress shoes.

Vanchieri suffers from a medical condition which may cause him to be confused and easily lost.

Vanchieri is 5-foot-5 and 140 pounds and has black and gray hair and green eyes.
