2 arrested, more suspects sought after Phoenix shooting, drug bust

PHOENIX — Two people were arrested on drug and gun charges following a shooting in Phoenix, police said Sunday.

Officers responded to shots fired at a home near 15th and Grovers avenues on Tuesday and executed a search warrant after determining shots were fired from inside and outside the residence, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers found over 3,000 M30 pills, 340 grams of methamphetamine, a handgun, a rifle inside a vehicle parked in the driveway and almost $30,000.

The two people inside the home were arrested on charges including narcotic drug sales, unlawfully discharging a firearm and the use of a weapon in a drug-related offense.

Police are searching for additional suspects.
