PHOENIX — The 18th annual Glow on Monroe electric light parade is returning to downtown Buckeye on Saturday.

The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and will light up Monroe Avenue from 2nd Street to Apache Road.

Historic fire trucks, horse drawn carriages and vintage vehicles decked out in Christmas lights will dazzle in the streets, according to a press release.

Local school marching bands will also play festive music while floats cruise down the road.

Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn, along with Caleb Elms, will act as the parade’s Master of Ceremonies and announce each float as they present themselves, according to the release.
