PHOENIX — Valley freeways will be clear of restrictions this weekend except for a portion of Loop 101 in north Phoenix.
Westbound lanes of the Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be closed between Seventh Street and Interstate 17 from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for final lane striping as part of a widening project, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The northbound State Route 51 ramp to westbound Loop 101 and the westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Cave Creek Road will also be closed for the project.
Lane striping will also be taking place several miles east of the closures and result in the eastbound lanes of Loop 101 being narrowed to two lanes between Tatum Boulevard and 64th Street during the same time period.
Loop 101 westbound closed between 7th St and I-17!
