Adele has no plans to tour on the heels of her latest smash album, but the reigning queen of musical heartbreak is going easy on Valley daydreamers willing to make the trip to Las Vegas.

The superstar on Tuesday announced the Weekends with Adele residency: two dozen Friday and Saturday night concerts from Jan. 21 to April 16, skipping the third weekend of February, at the Caesars Palace Colosseum.

There’s no telling when Arizona fans will have a better chance to see Adele perform. She’s visited the state for arena shows only twice, both in 2016, according to Setlist.FM. (Her attendance at a Phoenix Suns home game during the NBA Finals in July doesn’t count.)

Valley fans will be just a five-hour drive or hourlong flight away from next year’s residency, but snagging tickets might be a tougher task than getting to the show.

A general public sale will be held only if seats remain after next week’s Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale, which seems unlikely given the British singer’s popularity.

But anybody who registers online as a Verified Fan by Friday at 12:59 a.m. Arizona time will later receive a unique code for access to the Dec. 7 presale. The presale starts at 11 a.m. Arizona time and will last 12 hours or until all of the approximately 103,000 seats are taken.

Even if you get into the Verified Fan queue, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to buy a ticket; the process is designed to weed out scalpers and bots.

Adele’s fourth full-length studio release, “30,” came out Nov. 19, six years after her previous effort, “25,” and needed just three days to become the best-selling album of 2021.

We want to hear from you.
