Janet Jackson announces world tour with stop in Arizona

PHOENIX — Janet Jackson fanatics and music buffs in the Valley unite: The pop sensation announced Monday the highly-anticipated “Unbreakable World Tour” will stop in Phoenix.
The Grammy award-winning artist is primed to start the first leg of the legendary tour in North America. The tour includes 36 shows across the continent to promote her upcoming album due out this fall.
One of these stops is in Phoenix’s Comerica Theatre on October 19.
Other stops include Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego and San Francisco.
Jackson, one of the biggest-selling artists in pop music history, has not toured since her popular “Number Ones, Up Close and Personal” tour in 2011.
Tickets go on sale on June 22 at 10 a.m. at JanetJackson.com and will also be on sale at Ticketmaster, livenation.com and the Comerica Theatre box office.
