PHOENIX — The city of Phoenix announced Tuesday it has launched a new app that allows people to access numerous services from the palm of their hand.
The app, myPHX311, is free and available on Apple and Android devices.
“This app will allow for quicker, more efficient service to meet the needs of every Phoenician,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a press release.
“I’m proud our city listens to our residents and adapts to the changing environment to allow for flexible, creative solutions.”
Users of the app can request water or trash services, view or pay city services bills, report issues in the community like potholes or water main breaks, and access city calendars and public meetings, among other needs.
The city has also upgraded its web portal to match the app.
While the app is optimized for smartphones, it can be used on tablets as well.
People can create an account or access the app as a guest, and the app is also available in Spanish.
