Arizona man sentenced to 5 years in prison for sex crimes

PHOENIX — An Arizona man has been sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of sexual abuse of a minor and abusive sexual contact.
Roy Dominic Robles, 35, of Marana, Arizona, was previously convicted by a jury on two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, one count of abusive sexual contact with a minor, and two counts of abusive sexual contact without permission.
Robles also faces 15 years of supervised release as part of the sentence handed down by U.S. District Judge Susan M. Brnovich last week, the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, said in a press release.
The man during a trip with family and friends to Lake Mead on Sept. 14, 2019, allegedly sexually abused the minor victim.
On that same day, Robles allegedly engaged in abusive sexual contact without permission with the adult victim.
Investigation of the case was conducted by The National Park Service.
