PHOENIX — Cities across the Valley this week are honoring those who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces with Veterans Day celebrations.

Phoenix-area events range from parades to tributes on the federal holiday Thursday, along with a few events before and after Veterans Day.

KTAR News 92.3 FM’s Jim Sharpe and Jayme West will be emcees for part of the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. on the holiday.
