Silver Alert canceled after 87-year-old Sun City woman found safe

PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert for a missing Sun City woman on Monday after she was found safe.

Jean Ann Palmer, 87, had last been seen walking away from a care facility near 103rd Avenue and Bell Road on Sunday around 6:45 p.m., the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Palmer, who suffers from dementia, was wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, khaki pants and brown sandals.

She stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 123 pounds and has white hair and blue eyes.

Palmer does not have a cellphone or access to a car. She does not have family or friends in the area, authorities said.

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts should call MCSO at 602-876-1011.
